Essential Functions

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Confer with the manager on duty about the prep list to determine the requirements of the day.
• Follow company recipes and procedures when preparing or cooking food.
• Work in a clean, efficient, and organized manner.
• Audit kitchen checks to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and appearance.
• Assist with controlling costs and waste.
• Observe good sanitation and safety procedures.
• Maintain a sense of ownership with respect to kitchen equipment.
• Work effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurant.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and clean-up work as required.
• Other duties requested by management.
  
  

Physical Requirements: These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of this position.

• Must be able to move/transport a weight of 25lbs
• Must be able to remain stationary for a period of 8 hours
• The associate must be able to effectively communicate
• Sometimes will work in extreme cold (freezer) and be exposed to high heat (oven/flat-top)
