Crew is seeking a Dishwasher / Porter with elevated, high-volume restaurant experience to join an experience-focused front of house team for an exciting new venue. Dishwashers / Porters are an integral part of our award-winning back-of-house team.

Job Overview

Position Summary

Our Dishwasher / Porters are essential to our operation, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of their work area. Porters are professional, friendly, hardworking, and eager to learn and grow on the job.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all glassware and china
• Comply with Company and Department of Health sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards; observe proper food handling techniques and safety protocols
• Follow Company safety plans and standards as set in training
• Dispose of trash, cardboard, etc., from kitchen and service areas
• Exercise sound judgment considering safety, customer needs, and environmental factors
• Keep work area neat and clean to meet DOH standards
• Maintain cleanliness of storage and back-of-house areas
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks as directed
• Report in a neat uniform; maintain personal hygiene as per company policy
• Set up and break down stations; perform cleaning after each service
• Clean and restock bathrooms
• Coordinate with venues on DOH compliance

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
• Organizational skills
• Polished personal presentation and grooming
• Willingness to work outdoors
• Positive attitude and team spirit
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Employees must walk, stand, reach, bend, lift, carry, and wipe, with potential for slipping or tripping. Must frequently wash hands and lift/move up to 35 pounds.
