Job summary

Pfriem Beer in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a reliable dishwasher to support our kitchen team, maintain the dish station, and keep chemicals and cleaning supplies in order. You will collaborate with taproom staff and other crew, ensuring a clean, organized workspace and upholding sanitation standards.

Expect occasional lifting up to 50lbs and a positive, beer-centered culture. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; we promote from within and offer opportunities to grow within a craft beer

Job description

You will be working with our talented kitchen team and be responsible for keeping up with the continual operation and maintenance of the dish station and will take part in other kitchen duties and opening/closing procedures. Dishwashers will be responsible for taking daily checks of chemicals and cleaning supplies, ensuring the organization and cleanliness of all janitorial areas, communicating needs or issues to managers, all while maintaining a reasonable level of organization and professionalism.

A breakdown of your tasks:

• Operate and maintain dish station
• Daily checks of chemicals and cleaning supplies
• Maintain janitorial areas
• Complete additional tasks and/or ways to help other team members
• Follow all pFriem Kitchen checklists and guides
• Maintain quality, cleanliness, sanitation and professionalism regardless of business volume
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Routinely lift up to 50lbs safely and without risk of injury to self, others, or company property

The location

Housed partially in the former fire station of the historic Milwaukie City Hall building. The taproom features a stunning green space, large trees, and a sculpture garden accompanied by a spacious pergola covered outdoor patio, a private dining and event space upstairs for various brewery and community events, and a lounge area reminiscent of the popular Bear's Den in Hood River.
