Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team in Kentucky is seeking a Dishwasher to join our dedicated dining team. You will support culinary staff, keep the kitchen clean, and help ensure residents enjoy safe, high-quality meals.

The role requires basic reading and math, good communication, teamwork, and flexibility to cover weekends, evenings, and holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, and up to 20 days PTO.

Responsibilities

• Work with Dining Services leadership to maintain resident satisfaction with meals.
• Keep kitchen clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
• Wash and store dishes and equipment per policy.
• Keep dish room neat and sanitary; manage trash and floors.
• Monitor dish machine, refill chemicals, and maintain temperatures.
• Record temperature and sanitation levels before meals.
• Assist with event planning, banquets, and theme meals.
• Support cooks and wait staff as needed.

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our amazing team!

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Check dish machine at the beginning of each shift for chemicals and refill as needed.
• Maintain dish machine after each meal by thoroughly cleaning and maintaining sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels.
• Record temperature and sanitation levels into the temperature logs before each meal.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
