Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team in Akron is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support our kitchen and dining operations for residents.

You will work with culinary leadership to keep dishes clean, maintain sanitation, and assist with meal service while following safety standards; flexible weekend/evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Culinary Director and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with dining programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dish area.
• Wash and store dishes and equipment per policy.
• Maintain dish room in neat, sanitary condition.
• Clean floors and manage trash as part of daily routine.
• Check dish machine chemicals and refill as needed.
• Maintain sanitizing temps and ppm levels in dish machine.
• Record temperature and sanitation levels before each meal.
• Attend pre-meal kitchen stand-up.
• Assist with events, banquets, and special meals.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

The Experience Senior Living Team is comprised of dynamic professionals that are fueled by their passion to empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest. We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our amazing team!

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Check dish machine at the beginning of each shift for chemicals and refill as needed.
• Maintain dish machine after each meal by thoroughly cleaning and maintaining sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels.
• Record temperature and sanitation levels into the temperature logs before each meal.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
