Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in a sanitary and orderly manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area clean and organized, complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors for sanitation.
• Washes work surfaces, walls, refrigerators, and food prep areas.
• Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
