The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment, utensils, and other kitchen/dining tools.

Opportunity Details:

Schedule:

• Part-Time
• Shift: 4:00pm-7:30pm
• Works one weekday per pay period, every other weekend, and rotating holidays
• Approximately 14 hours bi-weekly

Pay:

• Targeted pay range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
• Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, licenses, and education

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand. Operates the 3-compartment sink properly.
• Maintains clean, sanitized, and orderly kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils. Uses appropriate chemicals and PPE for cleaning tasks.
• Performs opening and closing side work, including sweeping, scrubbing floors, cleaning dish storage areas, and surrounding spaces.
• Reports sanitation or janitorial issues immediately.
• Assists kitchen staff during peak times, including prep work.
• Empties and cleans trash receptacles and disposes of waste properly.
• Collaborates effectively with team members in a dynamic environment, supporting the community as directed by leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, and policies, including Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precautions, OSHA, SDS, ADA, HUD policies, and Fair Housing laws

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in dishwashing or commercial kitchens
• Previous experience working with seniors
