Job summary

Outbound Mammoth seeks a Kitchen Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced Mammoth Lakes kitchen. You will help ensure safety, sanitation, and organization for the culinary team, supporting daily operations and guest service.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing items, keeping the dish area clean, complying with health regulations, and assisting with general cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to support the overall team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, storage rooms, and waste disposal areas.
• Properly handle, sort, and store clean dishes, cookware, and kitchen supplies.
• Remove trash and recycling, ensuring waste is disposed of according to established procedures.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, walls, walk-in coolers, and other designated areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.
• Monitor dishwashing chemicals and cleaning supplies, reporting inventory needs to management.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and properly handling equipment.
