Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a part-time dishwasher to maintain clean dishes and a sanitary kitchen. Shifts run 10:30am–7pm with varied weekdays and every other weekend. You’ll wash utensils, sanitize equipment, and keep the dish room orderly to support a smooth dining operation.

The role requires physical stamina and teamwork, with lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs. Spectrum offers comprehensive benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter.
• Able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties.
• Wash utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for dining room reset.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen per schedules.
• Clean dish room, mats, dishwasher, and stainless steel surfaces.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and related spaces.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher, and shining stainless steel
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and other areas pertaining to kitchen

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• Must be aself-starter
