Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support dining services. The role features a shift from 10:30am to 7pm with varied weekdays and alternating weekends, contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

You will wash dishes, sanitize utensils, and maintain clean dish rooms while working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a caring community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter.
• Must communicate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties.
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for the dining room reset.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to schedules and procedures.
• Clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher, and shining stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and other areas pertaining to kitchen.

Job Description

Schedule: Part-Time. 10:30am-7pm, varied weekdays and every other weekend.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• Must be aself-starter
• Must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours
• Must be able to lift, carry up to 30 lbs., and push or pull up to 40 lbs.
