Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Missouri is seeking a Part-Time Kitchen/Dishwasher to support dining services. Your duties include washing dishes, sanitizing utensils, cleaning the dish room and kitchen surfaces, and assisting with setup for the dining room.

Schedule is 10:30am–7:00pm, varied weekdays and every other weekend. You will work in a team, follow safety procedures, and help maintain a welcoming, clean dining environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter.
• Must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours.
• Must be able to lift, carry up to 30 lbs., and push or pull up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties.
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for dining room reset.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to schedules and procedures.
• Clean dish room, sweep and mop kitchen floors, and maintain storage areas.
• Ensure cleaning throughout the kitchen aligns with safety and sanitation standards.

Job Description

Schedule: Part-Time. 10:30am-7pm, varied weekdays and every other weekend.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher, and shining stainless steel
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and other areas pertaining to kitchen

Qualifications
