Job summary

Era Living is seeking on-call Dishwashers to join the Culinary Services Team at Ida Culver House Broadview in Seattle, WA. Shifts are from 4:30PM to 8:30PM, with a pay rate of $21.30 per hour.

The role focuses on cleaning dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness while supporting food service operations. Qualifications include English communication, weekend availability, and a Food Handler’s Certificate (or ability to obtain within 14 days).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and cook items; maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Operate the dish machine and maintain washing areas; log daily temperatures per procedures.
• Deliver and retrieve resident meal carts and buss, and clean tables as required.

Era Living is seeking on-call Dishwashers to become the newest members of our Culinary Services Team located in our Ida Culver House Broadview Community, Seattle, WA.On-call shifts will be from 4:30PM to 8:30PM.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cook supplies are properly cleaned. This position maintains the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and helps stock supplies.

• Operates dish machine following operating instructions, utensil machine washing and cleaning, including carts, trays, and placing clean items in designated storage areas

• Maintains the dish machine-washing areas, following sanitation and safety procedures. Properly records daily machine temperatures in appropriate logbooks following sanitation and safety procedures

• Delivers and retrieves Resident meal carts and busses and cleans tables as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• Ability to work weekends.

• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire

• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Previous dishwashing experience and kitchen prep skills, preferred.
