Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support patient nutrition services in a hospital setting.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, assist in tray line preparation, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety and guest-relations policies. Rotating weekends and holidays with morning to evening shifts; 20 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and sanitizes dishes and pots and handles garbage disposal.
• Sets up dish room and loads trays onto patient carts; assists in food assembly.
• Washes and sanitizes pots and pans and performs major kitchen cleaning duties.
• Maintains floor cleanliness and proper waste removal in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Supports special hospital functions and adheres to safety standards.

Hourly Pay Range:

$17.43 - $24.40 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Dishwasher
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Part Time, 20 weekly hours
• Hours: Mon-Sun 6:30AM TO 9:00 PM, rotating weekends & holidays
• Required Travel: None

What you will need:

• Tray line and kitchen experience is preferred.
• The organizational skills necessary to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
• The interpersonal skills necessary to interact with other food service employees.
• The ability to speak and read English.

General Summary:

Reporting to the Tray line Supervisor, cleans and sanitizes dishes and pots; handles garbage disposal and kitchen sanitation; assembles food on patient trays.

1. Participates in tray line functions; sets up loading station, stocking as necessary. Loads trays onto patient carts; may assist in assembling food on patient trays.
2. Sets up dish room for daily work. Directs dish room workers in proper washing of dishes and cleanup of dish room.
3. Washes and sanitizes pots and pans.
4. Performs major cleaning jobs throughout the kitchen, cafeteria, and dish room. Performs other miscellaneous cleaning duties as requested.
5. Sweeps and mops floors in kitchen and cafeteria.
6. Removes garbage and waste from kitchen and cafeteria.
7. Serves and cleans up for special hospital functions.
8. Adheres to departmental and hospital safety standards in order to maintain a safe patient care and working environment. Attends mandatory in-service programs.
9. Adheres to the hospital’s Guest Relations policy.
