Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Monitor water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Follow sanitation guidelines set forth by the Health Department.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedule to maintain the standard of the restaurant.
• Keep the dish room clean and organized.
• Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Communicates with Chefs and Management about any maintenance concerns.
• Clean all restroom facilities before the restaurant is open to the public.
• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas.
• Stock food, beverages and supplies as directed by the Chef.

Position Summary

Our dishwashers are a vital part of our team. They are responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, glassware, and pots are clean and sanitized.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Monitor water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Follow sanitation guidelines set forth by the Health Department.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedule to maintain the standard of the restaurant.
• Keep the dish room clean and organized.
• Bag and haul trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Communicates with Chefs and Management about any maintenance concerns.
• Clean all restroom facilities before the restaurant is open to the public.
• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas.
• Stock food, beverages and supplies as directed by the Chef.
• Proper handling of food.
• Dishes must be put away in a timely manner.
• Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift.
• Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized.
• All other duties assigned.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment, including, but not limited to, cutlery used in the cutting of fruit for garnishes.
