Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment according to policies and procedures.
• Keep floors clean (sweeping, mopping, washing) and empty trash.
• Assist with storing food orders appropriately.
• Assist chefs and servers as assigned.
• Help prepare and execute special events, banquets, theme meals/parties.
• Follow cleaning schedules as directed by the Culinary Services Director.
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and food safety practices.
• Clean and sanitize dining room furniture and equipment.
• Communicate resident preferences to the food service director and/or dining room manager for menu planning and satisfaction.
