Job summary

White Barn Inn, Auberge Collection in Kennebunk, Maine, seeks a Dishwasher to keep the kitchen spotless and organized as part of a luxury dining team. You will support culinary operations, handling dishware and kitchen tools to ensure a smooth service flow.

Candidates should have at least one year of dishwasher experience, be able to read and write in English, and be flexible to work weekends and holidays as department needs dictate.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience as a Dishwasher.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.

Responsibilities

• Use manual or mechanical methods to wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
• Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks, such as peeling and cutting vegetables or portioning ingredients.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure a continuous and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely availability of clean dishes during peak hours.
