Job summary

Ciel Senior Living is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, cookware, and kitchen areas. The role supports dining service, assists residents and cooks, and helps keep the kitchen safe and organized.

The position requires English proficiency, a valid Food Handler’s card, health compliance, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. CPR/First Aid may be required by state regulation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Maintains current Food Handler’s card.
• Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• CPR and/or First Aid Certification as required by State regulation.
• Criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, and utensils using machine and manual methods.
• Operate and monitor the dishwashing machine; set up and break down the dishwashing area.
• Assist residents to dining area as needed and support cooks with plating and serving.
• Deliver prompt, courteous service and ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Wipe spills and maintain dry, safe floors; record sanitizer and temperature logs.
• Sort, rinse, and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; rewash soiled items as needed.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
