C.H. Guenther & Son is hiring a dishwasher/kitchen helper in San Antonio, TX, to wash and store utensils, assist with salad prep, slice meat, and support cooks. The role includes transporting produce, operating the dishwasher, and maintaining clean work areas.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and strong time-management and verbal communication. Availability Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays is required; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Prior dishwashing experience using automated dishwashing equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work under time constraints, quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to get along with others and have good verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to transport mixing bowl with ingredients and trash containers weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Must understand and follow all food handling, safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and load dishes; operate dishwasher cycle.
• Transport produce to kitchen and store cleaned items.
• Assist with salad prep and general food preparation.
• Empty trash and maintain clean work areas at shift end.
• Fill in for other kitchen staff as needed.
