Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to join our store. You will wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, maintain the cleanliness of floors, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area, and assist with deliveries, storage, and product rotation.

You will deliver excellent customer service, greet customers, answer phones, and support team members in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 6-8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready to work; attend required trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, and model suggestive selling; answer phones and pages.
• Maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; keep equipment clean and safe.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure signage and pricing accuracy; report safety hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
