Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring a Dishwasher to perform dishwashing duties and maintain kitchen cleanliness. You will wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, assist with deliveries, and help keep floors, walls, and shelves clean while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practice procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment safely.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
