Job summary

Ottava Via in Detroit is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support a fast-paced Italian kitchen. You will wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and equipment to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, handling kitchen equipment, following health and safety procedures, and assisting with supplies. Training is provided and opportunities exist to grow within the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Clean and sanitize all dirty dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Safely clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Sort and store cleaned items in an organized manner.
• Dispose of trash and keep areas clean.
• Follow health and safety regulations and PPE.
• Assist with inventory and supplies.
