Pura Vida Miami LLC is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our busy kitchen in a fast-paced environment. You will wash dishes, maintain sanitation, stock supplies, and support with deliveries while adhering to health and safety standards. The role offers opportunities to cross-train across kitchen stations and grow with a growing lifestyle brand.

We value reliability and a strong work ethic, and this on-site position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. $18.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
• Dexterity to operate industrial dishwashers and heavy pots/pans.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure items are cleaned and sanitized per health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly and report malfunctions to the Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies such as dish detergent and towels.
• Sort and organize clean dishes and equipment for easy access.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in storage areas.
• Cross-train across roles in the restaurant to support team growth.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
