Pura Vida Miami is a lifestyle brand passionate about simple, wholesome food and beverage experiences in a fast-paced kitchen setting. We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep dishware spotless and to support a growing team delivering consistent guest experiences.

As part of our kitchen, you will handle dishwashing duties, maintain sanitation, assist with deliveries, and be ready to cross-train across roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dishwasher is preferred but not required.
• Dexterity to operate industrial dishwasher equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend and reach overhead.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops. Regularly remove trash and place it in designated containers.
• Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, such as dish detergent, sanitizers, and towels, as needed.
• Properly sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for easy access and efficiency in the kitchen.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
• Show willingness and ability to cross-train across various roles in the restaurant to ensure rapid growth in responsibilities and contribution to team success.
• Support with any additional duties assigned.
