Pura Vida Miami is looking for a reliable dishwasher to join our lively kitchen team. You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain a clean work area, and support across roles as required to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher experience is preferred but not required.
• Dexterity to operate dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans, and perform tasks with attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
• Familiarity with measurement systems.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend, reach overhead, and stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure items are cleaned and sanitized per health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Operate and report malfunctions of dishwashing equipment to the Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Sort and organize clean dishes and equipment for easy access.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and proper storage.
• Cross-train across roles to support rapid growth in responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
