Job summary

Erewhon Market is hiring a Dishwasher/Porter to support the Tonic Bar operations and keep the kitchen running smoothly. You will handle all food storage and cleaning duties in line with health and safety regulations, and you will work closely with the tonic bar team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

You must be able to stand long hours and lift up to 30 lbs, be flexible for nights and weekends, and communicate clearly with team members to deliver great customer service

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 30 lbs regularly.
• Strong team communication and cooperation.
• Flexible to work nights and weekends based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Handle all food, storage and cleaning activities for the department in compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain sanitation for back of house including garbage removal and cleaning floors, coolers, freezers, and stock areas.
• Keep dish pit, line and prep areas organized and clean.
• Replenish dishes and bar tools as needed.
• Prepare juice, smoothie, tonic and coffee bar drinks while maintaining high productivity.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
• Communicate with the Tonic Bar Manager on supplies and equipment needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
