Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our fast-paced kitchen and ensure clean, sanitized workspaces throughout service. Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining other areas, assisting with deliveries, and cross-training across roles to help the team grow.

You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work standing for long periods in a busy restaurant. Health and safety regulations, correct handling of pots and pans, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiar with health and safety regulations in a kitchen.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly; report malfunctions to the Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Sort and organize clean dishes and equipment for easy access.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing items appropriately.
• Cross-train across various roles to support team growth.
• Support with any additional duties assigned.
