Job summary

Leroy Springs & Company is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to ensure clean and sanitized dishware for front and back of house. The role involves washing using machines or manual methods, organizing items for the kitchen, and assisting with basic prep as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification; will train.
• ServSafe Alcohol Certification: will train.
• CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and child abuse prevention training; will train.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; varied schedule including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and sanitization of dishes, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Sort and organize cleaned items for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Maintain dishwashing machines and report malfunctions.
• Keep dishwashing area clean and organized; empty trash and wipe surfaces.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and detergents.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep during slower periods.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during peak hours.
• Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Efficiently manage volume of dirty dishes during busy periods.
• Collaborate with team to support overall kitchen operations.
