Atria Senior Living, Inc. is hiring in Tucson to support kitchen and dining operations in a resident-focused setting. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe dining area and delivering friendly, restaurant-style service.

You will work with the Culinary Services leadership to ensure residents enjoy quality dining programs and events, while adhering to sanitation and safety standards. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Clean floors, equipment and other areas as assigned.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Work with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied.
• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures.
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean and sanitary manner.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Assist with Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.
• Maintain dish machine and ensure proper sanitizing temperatures.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and safety standards.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand up in kitchen prior to meal service.
• May perform other duties as needed.
