Atria Senior Living in Lake Ronkonkoma area is seeking a Kitchen and Dining Aide to maintain cleanliness and support residents' dining experiences. You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes, assist cooks, and help keep a restaurant-style atmosphere.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and excellent customer service in a warm senior living community. Training is provided; the position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth while supporting residents’ daily meals.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to assist in food service and dining operations.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Work with Culinary Services Director and Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain dish room neat, clean, and sanitary; follow cleaning schedules.
• Assist with prep and execution of Art of Atria Dining programs.
• Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
