Job summary

The Nines, a Sage Hospitality Group property in Portland, seeks a dedicated dishwasher under general supervision to support the restaurant and kitchen teams. Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of dishwashing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers all dirty dishware from tubs, rinses and stacks in dishracks, clearing leftovers and trash for washing.
• Loads full dishracks on belt and operates the dishwasher according to instructions.
• Loads dishwashing detergents and regulates chemical output to the machine.
• Unloads clean dishes, inspects for cleanliness, and stacks in carts for staff use.
• Manually scrubs pots, pans and equipment not washed automatically with detergents and brushes.
• Polishes silver, stainless steel, and pewter used in food service for a clean presentation.
