Job summary

Sodexo at University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire is hiring a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations with cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in production and service areas. You will clean equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces, transport supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown as directed.

This full-time role requires flexibility in shifts and reliable attendance. The job offers a supportive work environment, ongoing training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and basic food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using proper chemicals for sanitation.
• Restock soap, towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time; other duties may be assigned as needed.
