Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher in the United States. You will support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas.

This role involves cleaning equipment, utensils, floors, and storage spaces, and assisting with basic setup and break-down tasks. Shifts include mornings and evenings with flexibility; pay is $15.00 per hour, and you’ll be part of a larger Sodexo team focused on safe, quality service and ongoing training

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other means of mobility.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, which may exceed 8 hours.
