Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery is seeking a Dishwasher to keep the kitchen area clean and organized, ensuring smooth guest service and meal preparation.

You will maintain dish cleanliness, stock supplies, and assist with light prep as needed, while following safety and sanitation standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment in Annapolis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork.
• Ability to stay active and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up a clean and organized dish area at the start of each shift.
• Follow daily cleaning routines and checklists.
• Clean and restock dishes, plates, glasses, and kitchen tools throughout the shift.
• Keep the back dock, trash areas, and kitchen floors clean and safe.
• Ensure a clean work environment by removing garbage and boxes to the dumpster or designated area.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to move supplies and keep stations ready.
• Communicate with managers and teammates to stay ahead of kitchen needs.
• Help with light kitchen prep or receiving deliveries when needed.
• Keep dish machines and kitchen equipment clean and in good condition.
