Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing Team Member in Oakland, CA. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with deliveries and stock rotation.

You will provide friendly service, support team goals, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment. No prior retail experience is required; you must lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work flexible nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and responds to customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains clean working/shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; verifies pricing and signage; reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
