Job summary

O'Charley’s in Nashville is seeking a Dish Operator to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You will set up and operate the dish machine, clean and sanitize dishes, and assist with maintaining a safe, organized work area.

You will work as part of a team with line cooks to maintain a clean kitchen and efficient service, handle waste, and follow our procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to stand long hours, and a commitment to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Capable of following kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
• Works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the dish machine and maintain it.
• Wash and store dishes and silverware according to procedures.
• Check water temperature during washing.
• Remove trash and keep dishroom clean and organized.
• Maintain neat detergent storage and dry floors.
• Collaborate with line cooks to maintain a clean kitchen and efficient service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a Manager.
