Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Dishwasher and kitchen support associate to help maintain back-of-house cleanliness and support the culinary team at Yacht Club, the signature seafood restaurant in Hotel Trinity, Autograph Collection, in downtown Austin.

Qualifications

• No prior dishwasher or kitchen experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Active unexpired Food Handler's Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, and clean kitchen equipment using designated cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain clean floors and surfaces to ensure a safe back-of-house environment.
• Wash dishes by hand or in the commercial dishwasher; unload and load to meet sanitation standards.
• Sort and store all clean china, glassware, and utensils.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and support culinary team with kitchen tasks.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other assigned kitchen equipment using designated cleaning chemicals
• Keep floors and work surfaces free of trash, water, and debris to maintain a safe back-of-house environment and prevent workplace accidents
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, and wash by hand or in the commercial dishwasher
• Sort silverware before cleaning; properly load and unload the dishwasher to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Sort and store all clean China, glassware, silverware, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, display pieces, and platters using proper procedures
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks and supporting the culinary team with kitchen tasks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• No prior dishwasher or kitchen experience required - a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are what matter most
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and back-of-house teammates in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment
• Comfort working quickly and efficiently in a high-volume commercial kitchen setting
• Physical ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods throughout your shift
• Active unexpired Food Handler's Certification required
