Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of plateware, silverware, utensils, tools, pots, and pans
• Takes out garbage and trash to dumpster area
• Washes work areas, refrigerators, cooking and washing equipment, walls, and floors
• Assembles and breaks down dish machines daily
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment
• Receives orders and puts them away following FIFO (First In, First Out)
• Performs minor food preparation tasks
• Monitors dish chemical levels and communicates when low or malfunctioning
• Checks and clears floor drains daily; keeps area safe and dry
• Organizes and places equipment and plateware in correct storage areas
• Works safely in hot and damp environments; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
