Soho House in California is seeking a Dishwasher (Porter) to support kitchen operations by cleaning and organizing dishware, pots, pans, and equipment. Porter duties include waste disposal, operating the industrial dishwasher, and occasionally assisting the Chef on Duty.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience, thrive in fast-paced settings, and can work nights, weekends, and holidays. This role requires physical stamina and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of consistent work experience in hospitality or food service.
• Ability to focus, organize and prioritize in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Rinse, clean, organize and stock pots, pans, silverware, dishware and glassware to support daily operations.
• Follow health and safety policies and company procedures, and comply with laws.
• Operate the dishwasher and cleaning equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked workstation.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings.
• Collaborate with other stations as needed.
