Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is looking for a dependable team member to wash dishes and keep the kitchen area clean in Framingham, MA. You will support daily operations, maintain sanitation, and assist with restocking and opening/closing duties.

No prior retail experience required. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, customer service, and teamwork, following store procedures and health guidelines.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising practices.
• Follows and complies with health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; keeps equipment clean and safe.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
