Job summary

Blue Lake Casino is seeking a Dishwasher for Alice’s in the Restaurant. The position reports to the Executive Sous Chef and is non-exempt under the FLSA. The role focuses on maintaining clean kitchen work areas and equipment, supporting the culinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and language skills, and the ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures. Training and certification in food handling are required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or working toward completion within three months of hire.
• Ability to read simple words and numbers; speak clearly and professionally.
• Basic arithmetic for money, weights, volumes.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing equipment and stations.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Sort, store and transport clean wares; manage waste and trash disposal.
• Maintain clean kitchen areas and comply with safety procedures.
