Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member for our kitchen/dishwashing role in Vienna, VA. You will ensure a clean, organized kitchen and contribute to a positive customer experience by keeping dishes, surfaces, and equipment spotless while adhering to health and safety standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a team, and support correct merchandising and pricing. The position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintain clean floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assist with kitchen deliveries and proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrive on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Provide courteous customer service, address customer needs promptly, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Support accurate pricing and signage; protect safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow established procedures including health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment; operate equipment safely.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; report safety hazards and violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
