Job summary

Oakmont Management Group at Ivy Park Cerritos is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored in accordance with our mission and values. The role supports a senior living community and requires basic kitchen experience and a commitment to safety and resident care.

Responsibilities include meal-service prep, dish transport, cleanup, and responding to resident concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication with employees, residents and families.
• Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests are required.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be requested per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen, wash and sanitize, and return them to storage.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and sanitation, and empty trash.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional and caring manner.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
