Job summary

Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of dishware and kitchen areas while supporting a respectful, resident-focused dining environment. You will collaborate with staff to ensure timely meal service and uphold high cleanliness standards.

The role supports the kitchen team, adheres to safety and sanitation guidelines, and offers opportunities for on-the-job training with a community-focused employer.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
• Attends all in-service education programs mandated by Corporate SSL, State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper cleaning and handling of utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware in dishwasher area.
• Cleans and sanitizes all tableware and cookware used in the service and preparation of meals to the guest; cleans and organizes all dish areas and storage areas as necessary.
• Handles the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas and assists the cook on the serving line during meal periods.
• Interacts with residents, families, staff and other visitors to the community in a pleasant, respectful and courteous manner.
