Job summary

Legacy Food Hall is hiring a Dishwasher to support the kitchen and service areas. You will help maintain a smooth flow of clean ware, assist with prep duties, and uphold cleanliness standards throughout shifts.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining a current Food Handler’s Certification. E-Verify and equal opportunity employer policies apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine; wash all tableware, silverware, pots, and pans promptly.
• Keep dishwashing machine landing area clean and dry.
• Monitor water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Ensure cleanliness; rewash when necessary.
• Store clean china, glassware, silverware, and small wares properly.
• Empty soiled linen, trash, and recycling containers several times per shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations including Food Handler’s Certification.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in prep duties as needed.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and wear proper uniform.
• Communicate and work with coworkers and management as a team.
