Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living in Michigan is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to support daily meals for residents. You will help maintain clean dishes and a sanitary kitchen, ensuring supplies for service and helping the team during meal periods.

We value reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Previous experience is not required, and training will be provided to follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment for residents.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures a plus.
• Professional communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Complete dish machine temperatures and sanitation logs daily.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report issues.
• Clean all assigned areas and maintain a spotless dish room.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes for meal service.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Handle tableware to prevent breakage.
• Bag and haul trash to the dumpster at designated times.
• Sweep and mop kitchen areas.
• Clean food prep and production areas with proper sanitation solutions.
• Work calmly under pressure and in a team environment.
