Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in racks or conveyor dishwashers, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays following procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows safety procedures diligently.
• Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keeps dish area clean and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and sanitizes cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
