Kitchen Assistant - Ronald McDonald Family Room

Join us as a Kitchen Assistant - Ronald McDonald Family Room at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana.

We are seeking part-time (20-25 hours/week) Kitchen Assistants to join our team. Ideal candidates will have food service or hospitality experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent customer service. If you're a team player, problem-solver, and passionate about supporting families in need, we'd love to hear from you.

This position is part-time, 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will collaborate with the Culinary Program Manager to ensure proper food sourcing, preparation, and kitchen safety. You will also work with community agencies and partners for ongoing support and meal planning, aligning with our mission.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in food services and/or hospitality preferred
  • Interest in human services and ability to work well with diverse backgrounds
  • Sociable, collaborative, and able to work independently

This role requires flexibility to work across all three locations during weekday business hours, including days and evenings. A flexible schedule is preferred, and additional details will be provided during the interview.
