Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures.
3. Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
4. Ensures safety procedures are followed.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
6. Keeps dish area clean and compliant with safety standards.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash and cleans trash cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment as needed.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
