Job summary

Francisco Grande USA Inc invites applications for a resort dishwasher role. You will wash and clean all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dining items, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and Employee Dining Room. You’ll work with the Food & Beverage team and support operations during busy and quiet periods.

Reliable schedule, ability to stand for long shifts, and willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines are essential. Training provided; prior experience is not required.

Job description

Responsible for the washing and cleaning of all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, silverware, barware, dining items for the Resort. Responsible for washing the floor after every shift to company standards, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Kitchen and the EDR. Assist kitchen staff and work as a team player. Keep the dish room and kitchen equipment clean and organized with minimum breakage and damage. Hours may vary during quieter business levels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for the washing and cleaning of all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, silverware, barware, dining items for the Resort.
• Responsible for washing the floor after every shift to company standards, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Kitchen and the Employee Dining Room.
• Assist kitchen staff and work as a team player.
• Keep the dish room and kitchen equipment clean and organized with a minimum of breakage and damage.
• Check that there is sufficient food for the staff for their meal breaks, replace food as needed, and provide silverware, plates, napkins, and condiments for the EDR.
• Maintain a clean floor, tables, and chairs, and serving banquettes in the EDR.
• Understand the safety requirements for using chemicals, lifting properly, and pulling and pushing kitchen carts.
• Professional appearance, following the Appearance Standards guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Training provided.
• Knowledge of all safety and sanitation requirements and Arizona Department of Health policies.
• Understanding the safety requirements for using chemicals, lifting properly, and pulling and pushing kitchen carts.

ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to scoop, grasp, lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs. Ability to stand throughout shift.
• Able to work well under time constraints.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and management.
• Be a team player. Ability to support the Food & Beverage team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and Holidays.
• Understanding that the resort’s scheduling needs may change due to guest occupancy and hours scheduled to work may be less in the quieter summer months.
