• Location: Mission Hospital - 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays required.
• Requirement: Six months to one year of dishwashing experience required.
• Pay Range: $17.50 to $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Scrapes, rinses, and washes dishes by hand or in dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area clean and organized, complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans food prep surfaces, and removes trash.
• Transfers supplies and equipment, assists with loading/unloading supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
